Bokkie's First Web Site Home
Update August 18th, 2005
It's mid August and the summer has been sooo much fun!! I have lots of good friends, went to doggie day camp, lots of rafting (even a whitewater trip), camping - love the fire - someone always drops a treat or two. I spent some afternoons playing at my Grandparents lakehouse. I am excited to meet Shaka (a famous Zula King) - he's my new live chew toy! Coming all the way from St Louis on a plane - you can see his parents at www.silvercreekboerboels.com His Dad is Chaka and mom Nala - bet he's going to be really cute. Hope he doesn't sleep all the time! Aunt Deb and my Parents seem a little too excited about the "new guy"!! I'll let you know how it goes this weekend...wonder if he is going to get to go rafting - better not try and take my spot!!
Hi! My name is Bokkie. I am a 7 week old Boerboel. I just came home from my first vet visit and I weighed 12 pounds 6 ounces. Everyone thought I was the most beautiful puppy in the whole world (think my parents agree!)
Bokkie means pretty girlfriend in South African slang.
I will keep putting up my latest photos from all the photo shoots I attend. Seems like I am always the center of attention.
If you would like to see my birth parents visit their website www.moonmountainranch.us My Dad is Doppler Dala and Mother is Arizona Maya. They are quite the lookers
Well now I am 9 weeks and 4 days and growing every minute! I have had some adventures - a walk on the river road during the annual whitewater festival. Everyone keep stopping saying how cute I was! I agreed and kept cruising with Dad.
My Mom is quite annoyed with people calling me a boy-so I have a new pink and green collar - but it's too big - thus I use it a portable chew toy.
Aunt Deb's toes provide me with a permanent chew toy! She loves me soo much - but she keeps getting in trouble by having me curl up in bed! I must be tough to resist.
Well, now that I am getting older my parents are working on the training deal. Not so much fun - but I am thinking the more I pay attention the less time I will hear "NO" - I think I hear that more than "Bokkie" these days! Dad's new program seems to be working - I am no longer running the show! I was starting to think I was in charge of the house - but I guess that's not the deal.
Well I am almost 12 weeks and I haven't had an accident in the house in a week - Mom and Dad seem very proud!
Thought I would tell you about my new friends in Montana. Griz (Grandma and Grandpa's 9 year Female Chocolate Lab) is my new buddy. I go visit her at the lakehouse. Great spot to play in the woods and chew on a big dog. My little face is full of sap from some scary tree.
My other favorite friend is Roxy - she's so cool! A 15 week old Jack Russel Terrier. We play and play and play - her energy is incredible. We go until we crash and her Mom, Sarah takes her home for a nap and lunch. Sarah loves me too!
And my dearest buddy is PK the Cat. She lets me chew on her and I can almost put her whole neck in my month! (Kinda scares Aunt Deb - but I think I am just playing!) We wrestle and play chase - she always wins the chase!!
Well Now I am 15 weeks and growing so fast. Some of my talents include coming and sitting (75% of the time~ sometimes I pretend I am deaf) Mom and Aunt Deb keep trying to trun me into a water dog - swiming and palying at the lake. Getting better - but I prefer to wade around and chase Griz. Most days I go to the office in the morning with Mom and play with my girlfriend, Roxy, she's not growing so fast - but I love her! In the afternoon Grandma or Mom take me to play at the lakehouse with my other dear friend Griz! Dad usually finds me after work - too tired to play. But when I get older I will be able to run along him in the woods. I did cowboy up last weekend and go rock climbing with the boys ~ lots of fun!
Well I heard Mom and Dad have found a friend for me - a boy! He'll be coming to Montana in September. I hope he likes me and P.K. and doesn't try to take my spot in the bed between Mom and Dad!
